The Gundam x Hatsune Miku collab’s latest figure is based on Char Aznable’s iconic red Zaku

Bandai Spirits has revealed a new figure in the popular “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku” collaboration series.
The new product is a figure of Hatsune Miku wearing a “Zaku-gurumi,” a “kigurumi” or costume pajama, of Char Aznable’s iconic, red MS-06S Zaku II mobile suit.

This new reveal is a follow-up to the first figure in the series, the green “Zaku-gurumi,” which began its rollout in amusement facilities across Japan last week, starting on Thursday, the 4th of September.

Both unique designs originate from the collaboration’s original music video for the song “Idol Senshi” by Mitchie M, which features the virtual singer in a variety of mobile suit-themed outfits.
The crossover brings together two of Japan’s most famous and globally recognized pop culture properties in a charming and humorous fusion.
Like the first figure, the new “Char’s Zaku-gurumi” is a non-articulated, pre-painted statue standing at approximately 15 centimeters tall.

It features Hatsune Miku dressed in a cute, red Zaku costume, complete with details such as the mono-eye sensor on the hood and the commander’s antenna.
As “prize items,” both figures are exclusively available to be won in crane games and other arcade machines in Japan.
The “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku Figure – Char’s Zaku-gurumi [Hatsune Miku Ver.]” set to be released in amusement facilities across Japan in March 2026.
