Target to Launch Second Exclusive Pokémon Merch Collection This June

Retail giant Target has fully revealed their second exclusive Pokémon merchandise collection, following huge demand for the first collection that led to stores selling out almost immediately.

The second wave expands heavily on the initial release by introducing an entirely new assortment of apparel, outdoor gear, and recreational items for fans.

Pokémon has been a firm fan favorite for three decades since its 1996 debut on the original Game Boy, cementing its place in pop culture through video games, a trading card game, and animation.

All items in the collection will be completely exclusive to Target, and whilst they won’t be available to purchase elsewhere, it’s likely that this new collection will be targeted by resellers in the same way as the first, meaning that it may be hard to get hold of in store.

The new wave introduces highly anticipated starter-themed pullover jackets for regions beyond Kanto and also features lifestyle items like puzzles, beach towels, and an instant print digital camera featuring Eevee and its various Eeveelutions.

The majority of the new items will debut simultaneously on June 6, 2026, across both physical retail locations and the official website, meaning fans can head to physical locations right at opening time or log on to the Target online store at 8:00 AM CT.

A special online-only drop scheduled for the following morning will bring back the popular Kanto starter jacket from the first wave alongside new regional variants for Johto and Hoenn.

Pre-orders for the Johto and Hoenn jackets will initially open on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM CT, exclusively via the Target online store.

A second pre-order period will then open Sunday, June 7, 2026, for all three jacket designs, including the Kanto jacket, at 8:00 AM CT.
