Evangelion is revisiting Shinji Ikari’s first battle against Sachiel through a new premium collection of watches, jewelry and metal artwork from ANICORN.
The “ANICORN × EVANGELION – THE NGE COLLECTION” takes the opposing designs of Evangelion Test Type-01 and the Third Angel as its central theme, translating their first encounter into two watches alongside matching cuff bracelets and limited metal prints.

That confrontation takes place during the opening episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, when Shinji is recruited by NERV and sent into battle aboard Unit-01 against Sachiel shortly after the Angel attacks Tokyo-3.

ANICORN first revealed the two watches earlier this month, but the full launch has now confirmed their specifications and prices while also revealing the wider collection built around them.

Let’s take a look at the full range!
- “Evangelion Test Type-01 Automatic Watch” – $820

Unit-01’s layered armor and mechanical construction are translated into a double-layer dial built around a black structural framework, with purple, green and orange details recreating the Eva’s signature color scheme.

The NERV insignia sits at the center, while green numerals, orange warning details and additional Unit-01 markings are incorporated throughout the face.

Inside is a modified NH35-ATD automatic movement offering approximately 42 hours of running time, housed within a black 316L stainless steel case and paired with a matching quick-release metal bracelet.

The watch also uses AR-coated sapphire glass, offers 50-meter water resistance and is individually numbered.

- “The 3rd Angel Quartz Watch” – from $250

Sachiel receives a much more restrained design, with its sculpted face positioned at 12 o’clock and exposed red core at 6 o’clock against a glossy black dial.

An A.T. Field-inspired geometric motif is built into the crown, while the caseback references the Angel’s arrival in Episode 1, “Angel Attack”.

The $250 version comes with a black leather strap, while a second configuration priced at $280 adds a metal mesh bracelet alongside the leather option.

The rectangular stainless steel watch uses a Miyota 2025 quartz movement, mineral glass and 50-meter water resistance.

- “EVA-01 Cuff Bracelet” – $68

The matching cuff takes its shape from Unit-01’s layered armor and visual design, providing a more understated way of carrying the Eva theme without the accompanying watch.

Medium and large sizes are available, with the opening designed to allow for slight adjustment.
- “The 3rd Angel Cuff Bracelet” – $65

Sachiel is also recreated as a sculptural metallic cuff that follows the more minimal approach used for the Third Angel watch.

It is available in medium and large sizes, with an adjustable opening similar to the Unit-01 version.
- “EVANGELION Metal Print” – $48 each

Two different artworks are reproduced on individually numbered stainless steel panels using a combination of digital printing, silk-screen techniques and multicolor finishing.

Each print comes with an adhesive-backed magnet for wall mounting, allowing the artwork to be displayed without a conventional frame.

ANICORN is also selling a $1,200 “NGE COLLECTION Collectible Set” that brings the two watches together inside a dedicated aluminum alloy presentation box.

The set includes the individually numbered Evangelion Test Type-01 Automatic and The 3rd Angel Quartz, retaining the same movements, materials and specifications as their separately sold versions.

The release joins a growing selection of high-end Evangelion watches created during the franchise’s 30th anniversary period, including GARRACK’s mechanical collection featuring handcrafted Japanese raden dials earlier this year.

RADIO EVA and Seiko have also expanded their anniversary partnership, with a limited-edition Unit-02 diver’s watch released in July following the pair’s earlier Unit-01 model.

Orders for the “ANICORN × EVANGELION – THE NGE COLLECTION” are now open exclusively through ANICORN’s official online store, with the limited-time pre-order window remaining available until November 9, 2026 at 10 PM EST.
The two watches and $1,200 collectible set are expected to ship in April 2027, while the EVA-01 and Third Angel cuffs and $48 metal prints are scheduled for March 2027.
ANICORN is offering free worldwide shipping with duties included, with additional campaign rewards available for eligible purchases made during the limited pre-order period.
