Steel Ball Run’s Gyro Zepelli Joins Good Smile’s Nendoroid Figure Line

Good Smile Company has officially opened orders for a new figure based on one of the most popular characters from the Steel Ball Run arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
“Nendoroid Gyro Zeppeli” is a highly articulated, chibi-style figure that recreates the mysterious outlaw from the Kingdom of Naples, known for his eccentric personality.

This figure is based on the acclaimed Steel Ball Run arc, which debuted the first episode in its anime adaptation on March 19 worldwide.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a legendary, long-running manga series created by Hirohiko Araki, famous for its unique art style and intense battles.

The Steel Ball Run arc follows an incredibly dangerous cross-country horse race across the United States in the late 19th century.

Gyro serves as a master of the Spin technique, utilizing specialized steel balls to carry out his attacks with ruthless efficiency.

He is immediately recognizable to fans due to his signature cowboy hat, long blonde hair, and flamboyant green outfit.

Two different versions of Gyro’s Nendoroid will be available: a standard version that includes the figure with accessories, and a “DX,” or “Deluxe,” version that includes his horse.

Let’s take a look at both figures in more detail!
- Nendoroid Gyro Zeppeli
- Price: 6,930 yen (approx. £36 GBP / $45 USD).

This standard version perfectly replicates the iconic outlaw, standing approximately 100mm tall.

The figure includes three interchangeable face plates: a cool expression, his signature “Nyohoho” laugh, and a serious combat face.

Fans can pose him using various optional parts, including his steel balls, a spin effect piece, and binoculars.

- Nendoroid Gyro Zeppeli DX
- Price: 8,800 yen (approx. £46 GBP / $58 USD).

This deluxe set includes everything from the standard version.

It also includes a detailed figure of his beloved horse, Valkyrie, allowing fans to recreate dramatic riding poses.

Online pre-orders for the figures opened on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Reservations will be accepted through the Good Smile Company Official Shop and other retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan, until Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Customers who pre-order either version directly through the Good Smile Company Official Shop or the Medicos Online Shop will receive an exclusive bonus item.

The special bonus is a replica of Gyro’s teddy bear accessory and includes a specialized hand part to hold it.

Pre-orders are currently scheduled to begin shipping out to customers in September 2026.
For fans looking for an alternative to figures, Bandai has announced that they will be releasing several different pieces of wearable merchandise based on Steel Ball Run.
The first is a range of officially licensed jewelry, which features pieces inspired by Johnny and Gyro.

They are also releasing an exclusive line of Steel Ball Run T-Shirts, which feature some of the series’ most popular characters including Johnny, Gyro and Diego.

Finally, they are currently taking orders for a perfect replica of Johnny Joestar’s beanie hat.
