Square Enix Reveals 2 New Chrono Trigger Statues

Square Enix has officially unveiled the fully painted prototypes for a pair of highly anticipated statues based on the legendary 1995 role-playing game Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger is a landmark title originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, famous for its time-traveling plot and memorable cast.

The story follows a young boy named Crono as he accidentally travels through time and embarks on a grand adventure to prevent the destruction of the world.
These new figures are part of Square Enix’s “FORM-ISM” line, which focuses on accurately capturing the distinct shapes and artistic styles of iconic video game characters.

Both designs heavily draw inspiration from the classic promotional illustrations featured on the game’s original physical packaging.
Let’s take a closer look at the two characters featured in this nostalgic reveal!
- “Chrono Trigger FORM-ISM Crono”

The time-traveling hero is depicted with a confident, strong smile, resting his hand firmly on the hilt of his signature katana.
- “Chrono Trigger FORM-ISM Marle”

The adventurous princess strikes a classic, heroic pose, standing tall while resting her crossbow vertically against the ground.
While fans eagerly await official pricing and release dates, they can currently see these unreleased figures in person.
The painted prototypes are currently on display at the temporary “SQUARE ENIX POP UP STORE” located inside Ikebukuro PARCO in Tokyo.

This special exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Exact details regarding pre-order windows, pricing, and exact shipping schedules are expected to be announced by the manufacturer in the near future.
