Shampoo is the star of a new Ranma 1/2 haircare collab range

A new collaboration has been announced between the haircare brand Diane Perfect Beauty and the classic anime series Ranma 1/2.
The new partnership features a line of limited-edition shampoo and treatment sets with original, themed packaging, as well as a variety of promotional campaigns.

The collaboration is centered on the fan-favorite Ranma 1/2 character, Shampoo, who aptly shares her name with the common haircare product.
The brand has stated that Shampoo’s character, who is both beautiful and fiercely devoted, aligns with their own brand message of achieving both “cuteness” and “beauty.”

The collaboration features two different, limited-edition designs for the brand’s shampoo and treatment sets.
The full product lineup is as follows:
- Extra Night Repair Shampoo & Treatment Set: ¥1,463

This version features a brand-new, original, exclusive illustration of the character Shampoo on its packaging.
- Extra Scalp & Volume Shampoo & Treatment Set: ¥1,320

This version features an illustration of the series’ protagonist, Ranma Saotome, in both his male and female forms.
To celebrate the launch, a special, themed online quiz has been created, the “‘Shampoo by Shampoo’ Hair Diagnosis.”
In this quiz, the character Shampoo will “diagnose” the user’s hair type and recommend the best Diane product for them.

A variety of other promotional campaigns are also being held.
An online store campaign will give a free, original sticker set to customers who spend over ¥2,000 on the brand’s official e-commerce site.

A lottery will also be held on the social media platform X, where participants can win prizes such as a Chinese food platter from the Akasaka Szechwan Restaurant or a one-year supply of Diane shampoo and treatment.

An advance pre-sale of the products will be held on the NatureLab official e-commerce store, which is scheduled to begin on Monday, the 22nd of September.
The general nationwide release at drugstores and other retailers across Japan is scheduled for Wednesday, the 1st of October, 2025.
