Re-release announced for Nendoroids of Maomao and Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries

The Apothecary Diaries Nendoroids

Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for a re-release of its popular Nendoroid figures of the two main characters from the hit series The Apothecary Diaries.

This new production run offers fans another opportunity to acquire the sought-after and previously sold-out figures of the “taster,” Maomao, and the beautiful eunuch, Jinshi.

Nendoroids are a popular line of chibi-style, posable figures known for including a variety of interchangeable parts.

The Apothecary Diaries is a hugely popular “Inner Palace mystery” series that follows the adventures of a young woman with a sharp mind for toxicology who is forced to work in the imperial court.

  • Expressions: A “composed face,” a “happy face,” and an “irritated face.”
  • Accessories: A mortar and pestle for grinding herbs, a hairpin, and a set of attachable cat ears and a tail.

Nendoroid Jinshi: ¥6,200 (approx. $42 USD/£31 GBP)

  • Expressions: A “beautiful face,” a “scheming smile,” and a “pouting face.”
  • Accessories: An instruction paper, a pot of honey, and a wrapped chocolate.

An exclusive bonus item is also being offered for each of the figures for customers who pre-order from the official Good Smile Company online shop.

The Maomao Nendoroid will come with a bonus “bezoar” part, while the Jinshi Nendoroid will come with a bonus, alternate hand part.

Pre-orders for this re-release began on Friday, the 26th of September, 2025, via the official Good Smile Company online store.

The reservation period is scheduled to run until the 5th of November and both of the figures are scheduled to be shipped to customers in February of 2026.
