Pre-orders open for a new scale figure of the virtual singer KAF

A new 1/7 scale figure has been announced for the popular virtual singer KAF.

The new statue is a recreation of her “Third Singing Form: Swallow” and is part of Kadokawa’s “KDcolle” brand of figures.

KAF is a virtual singer from the Kamitsubaki Studio, who is known for her unique, “whispery yet powerful” voice and her mysterious and artistic worldview.

This new figure is a three-dimensional recreation of the key visual artwork for her “3rd ONE-MAN LIVE ‘Fukakai San (Kyo)'” concert, which was originally drawn by the acclaimed illustrator, PALOW.

The figure has been created under the direct and thorough supervision of the original artist.

The sculpt recreates the original artwork with a focus on details such as the flowing skirt and hoodie, and the delicate, individual strands of her hair.

A special, layered gradation painting technique has been used to capture the fantastical atmosphere of the original illustration.

The figure also comes with a special, A4-sized acrylic panel that features the background art from the original illustration.

This allows the figure to be displayed in a way that more completely recreates the world of the artwork.

A special, pre-order lottery is also being held.

Customers who pre-order the figure from the official Kadokawa Store have a chance to win one of two A3-sized, acrylic backgrounds that have been hand-signed by the artist, PALOW.

The “KAF – Third Singing Form: Swallow” 1/7 scale figure is priced at ¥27,500 (approx. $187 USD/£138 GBP).

Pre-orders for the new figure began on Friday, the 19th of September, at 12:00 PM Japan Standard Time, at a wide variety of hobby goods retailers, including the Kadokawa store.

The pre-order period is scheduled to run until the 12th of November and the figure is scheduled to be shipped in March of 2026.
