Orders open for huge new Digimon x Sanrio collab merchandise range

A new collaboration has been announced that brings together the classic 1999 anime series Digimon Adventure and Sanrio’s iconic characters.

The new product line is based on a series of original illustrations that pair each of the eight original DigiDestined and their partner Digimon with a popular Sanrio character.

This partnership unites two beloved properties from the late 90s and early 2000s, creating a nostalgic crossover for fans.

The collection is being sold through a series of limited-time, traveling pop-up stores, as well as online.

The eight official character pairings for the collaboration are as follows:

• Tai Kamiya & Agumon are paired with Cinnamoroll
• Matt Ishida & Gabumon are paired with Kuromi
• Sora Takenouchi & Biyomon are paired with Tuxedosam
• Izzy Izumi & Tentomon are paired with Pochacco
• Mimi Tachikawa & Palmon are paired with My Melody
• Joe Kido & Gomamon are paired with Keroppi
• T.K. Takaishi & Patamon are paired with Pompompurin
• Kari Kamiya & Gatomon are paired with Hello Kitty
