Gundam Base Reveals Three New Clear Color Gunpla Exclusives for July 2026

Bandai has announced three new Gundam Base exclusive Gunpla kits that will join its popular Clear Color lineup across two July releases, giving collectors fresh versions of fan-favorite Mobile Suits from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

The latest exclusives continue the official Gundam Base tradition of reimagining popular Gunpla kits with transparent armor, allowing builders to appreciate the intricate mechanical detail hidden beneath the exterior.

Leading the first wave is the HG 1/144 Z’Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.) [Clear Color] priced at ¥3,630 (approx. $25 USD / £18 GBP), which transforms the amphibious Mobile Suit’s outer armor into transparent parts that reveal the internal frame modeled after the Infinite Justice Gundam Type II concealed inside.

Metallic molded parts have been used for the joints and backpack, giving the clear exterior an even more striking finish than the standard release.

Builders can also recreate the battle-damaged head armor by swapping selected parts, while interchangeable claw components allow the Mobile Suit’s superheated claws seen in the movie to be displayed.

The kit also retains compatibility with selected parts from the separately sold HG 1/144 Infinite Justice Gundam Type II, giving experienced builders additional customization possibilities.

The second wave arrives one week later with the Gundam Base Limited FULL MECHANICS 1/100 Gundam Aerial [Clear Color] priced at ¥4,730 (approx. $32 USD / £24 GBP), which features newly molded clear blue and clear white armor that showcases the Mobile Suit’s detailed internal construction.

Metallic molded components have been used throughout the frame and beam rifle, creating an eye-catching contrast beneath the transparent armor panels.

The model also preserves the original kit’s advanced engineering, including the sliding leg mechanism that synchronizes the movement of the knees and thighs during kneeling poses, while the segmented feet allow for more natural ground contact.
