Prime 1 Studio Unveils Massive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger Statue
Prime 1 Studio is expanding its Premium Masterline lineup with a new Red Ranger statue inspired by Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, recreating the team’s iconic leader in an impressive 1/4 scale.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered in 1993 and became a global pop culture phenomenon by adapting footage from Japan’s Super Sentai series, introducing a generation of fans to the adventures of five teenagers who transformed into colorful heroes to defend Earth from Rita Repulsa and her forces.
Designed to reflect the appearance of the original live-action suit, the statue faithfully captures the athletic proportions of the stunt performers who brought the Red Ranger to life, from the broad upper body to the defined leg sculpt beneath the suit’s textured fabric.
The Tyrannosaurus-themed helmet has been finished in a rich, high-gloss red paint that closely matches its on-screen appearance, while the suit features carefully sculpted fabric textures that enhance the realistic look of the costume.
Collectors can also swap the statue’s arms to recreate a dramatic battle pose with the Red Ranger gripping his signature Power Sword in both hands, giving the display a more aggressive stance that evokes one of the hero’s finishing attacks.
With the interchangeable arm parts attached, the statue’s height increases from approximately 47 cm to around 62 cm, creating an even more commanding display piece.
The custom display base is decorated with the Red Ranger’s Tyrannosaurus emblem and complemented by a metal nameplate featuring typography inspired by the original television series, helping complete the premium presentation.
Prime 1 Studio is also producing a companion statue set featuring all five original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, allowing collectors to recreate the complete team display alongside the standalone Red Ranger release.
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger Premium Masterline 1/4 Scale Statue, priced at $499 USD (approx. £370 GBP), is available to pre-order through Prime 1 Studio’s official website, as well as select third party retailers.
The statue is currently scheduled to ship between December 2027 and March 2028.
