One Piece's New Official Metal Puzzle Collection Recreates 3 of the Series' Most Iconic Moments

Three memorable pieces of One Piece history are being transformed into intricate metal puzzles, challenging fans to physically recreate moments involving Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit, his treasured straw hat, and Eustass Kid’s devastating Damned Punk attack.

The new releases join Hanayama’s Huzzle series, which uses carefully engineered metal components to create three-dimensional puzzles that must be taken apart and then returned to their original form.

One Piece began as Eiichiro Oda’s manga in 1997 before its television anime followed in 1999, chronicling Monkey D. Luffy’s journey across the seas as he assembles the Straw Hat Pirates and searches for the legendary treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger.

Rather than simply placing One Piece imagery onto existing puzzles, each of the three designs connects the solution itself with a scene, object, or attack from the series, while their solid metal construction and polished finishes also make them suitable for display once completed.

The One Piece Gum-Gum Fruit Huzzle is the most approachable of the collection at Level 3 difficulty and recreates the Devil Fruit accidentally eaten by Luffy as a child, with successfully removing one of its pieces revealing the bite taken from the fruit.

The One Piece Straw Hat Huzzle raises the challenge to Level 5 and draws upon the treasured hat originally entrusted to Luffy by Shanks, specifically recreating the damage it suffers when Buggy attacks it with knives during his early confrontation with the future Straw Hat captain.

Solving the puzzle requires separating the knife and arm piercing the hat before working out how to return all of its components to their starting positions.

Experienced puzzle fans face the biggest challenge with the One Piece Damned Punk Huzzle, a Level 6 design based on Eustass Kid’s enormous electromagnetic railgun and the powerful attack it produces.

Its concept effectively asks you to stop Damned Punk before it can fire by dismantling the weapon, with nine separate pieces making it the largest number of components used for a Huzzle puzzle to date.

All three puzzles are intended for ages 15 and older, with their different difficulty ratings providing a natural progression from the comparatively accessible Gum-Gum Fruit through to the considerably more complicated Damned Punk.

The One Piece Gum-Gum Fruit, Straw Hat and Damned Punk Huzzles are each priced at ¥3,630 (approx. $23 USD / £17 GBP), with pre-orders currently available through the HANAYAMA ONLINE STORE.

The three metal puzzles are scheduled for release on October 31, 2026.
