Dragon Ball Z’s New Vegeta Figure Perfectly Recreates His Cell Saga Look
Vegeta is getting a new Dragon Ball Z S.H.Figuarts figure based on his appearance during the Android and Cell Saga, recreating the Saiyan Prince as he appeared during one of the most important periods of the anime.
The release will join Bandai’s wider “Z Fighters” collection, which is gradually assembling several of Dragon Ball Z’s central characters around a shared display concept inspired by the anime’s opening sequence.
The Android and Cell Saga begins after Future Trunks arrives from a devastated timeline to warn Goku and the others about powerful Androids destined to destroy much of the world.
That threat eventually expands with the appearance of Cell, a bio-engineered enemy created using the cells of several powerful fighters who seeks to absorb Androids 17 and 18 to achieve his Perfect Form.
The storyline is also a major turning point for Vegeta, who enters the conflict determined to surpass Goku and prove the strength of his newly achieved Super Saiyan transformation while gradually becoming more closely connected to Earth’s other defenders.
His relationship with Future Trunks becomes increasingly important as the story develops, particularly after the two enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber together to prepare for their battles against Cell.
The “S.H.Figuarts Vegeta
The approximately 13.5 cm figure uses Bandai’s patent-pending Dynamic-Movable Shoulder System, providing additional movement around the shoulders for poses that place greater demands on the upper body.
That added articulation is particularly useful for recreating Vegeta’s combat stances, including his iconic Galick Gun firing pose.
Three interchangeable expressions are included, consisting of a sideways-looking face, a shouting expression, and a gritted-teeth face that can be combined with the different hand options for a wider selection of scenes.
A separate head part recreates Vegeta’s hair blowing in the wind, giving the figure another appearance suited to quieter moments as well as the more action-focused poses.
Four pairs of interchangeable hands are included alongside replacement ankle parts, further expanding the range of stances available.
Bandai has also created dedicated crossed-arm parts, allowing Vegeta to recreate his familiar pose from the Dragon Ball Z opening when displayed alongside the other figures in the Z Fighters collection.
The sideways-looking expression has been designed to complement that pose, helping reproduce the specific group shot that serves as the basis for the wider collection.

Pre-orders for both figures will begin on September 1 through general hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan, with Vegeta scheduled for release in April 2027 and Trunks arriving one month earlier in March 2027.
Fans in the US may also see both figures offered through Bandai’s official Premium Bandai US retail channel once pre-orders officially open.
