The Japanese fishing tackle manufacturer DUO has announced a new addition to its popular “Pokémon Fishing” series of high-quality lures.

The “Pokémon Fishing” series is a line of “Made in Japan” lures that are designed to be both cute collectibles for Pokémon fans and genuinely effective, high-performance tools for serious anglers.

This new product is a special version of the Pikachu lure, themed around the Pokémon’s signature move, “Iron Tail.”

The “Pikachu | Slow Jitter Type – Iron Tail ver.” is a topwater lure that features a metallic tail part.

This heavy, metallic component is designed to reflect light in the water, creating a “flashing effect” that, combined with the lure’s vibration, strongly attracts fish, making it a “battle-spec” lure.

The lure’s face is designed with a “kiritto,” or “determined,” expression.

This new release is the fourth version of the Pikachu lure, joining the three existing variants, which each feature a different facial expression.
