New Kasane Teto Nendoroid comes with a baguette and a beer
A new, updated “2.0” version has been announced for the Nendoroid figure of the popular UTAUloid character, Kasane Teto.
Kasane Teto is a famous and beloved character who was originally created as an April Fool’s joke, designed to trick people into thinking she was a new Vocaloid.
However, she quickly developed a massive and dedicated fanbase of her own and has become one of the most popular characters in the entire vocal synthesizer scene.
This new Nendoroid is a completely updated version of her classic, original design.
Nendoroids are a popular line of chibi-style, posable figures known for including a variety of interchangeable parts.
The “Nendoroid Kasane Teto 2.0” comes with three different face plates: a “smiling face,” a “winking face,” and a “Teto only!” face.
It also includes a wide range of optional parts, such as her “Kasane Robo,” a baguette, a mug of beer, and an alternate belt part.
Alongside this new release, a re-release has also been announced for the popular “Nendoroid Kasane Teto: Synthesizer V AI Ver.”
This separate figure is based on her more modern design from the “Synthesizer V AI” software and comes with its own, different set of accessories, including a pair of wings.
An exclusive bonus item is also being offered for customers who pre-order either of the figures directly from the official Good Smile Company online shop.
Those who purchase from the official store will receive a “special base” for their figure as a gift.
Pre-orders for both of the figures began on Friday, the 10th of October via the official Good Smile Company online shop, and will remain open until the 19th of November.
The “Nendoroid Kasane Teto 2.0” is priced at ¥6,900 (approx. $47 USD / £37 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in April of 2026.
The re-release of the “Nendoroid Kasane Teto: Synthesizer V AI Ver.” is priced at ¥7,500 (approx. $51 USD / £40 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in March of 2026.
