Massive new update for Street Fighter 6 adds C. Viper and a bunch of new content

A massive new wave of content has been released for the hit fighting game, Street Fighter 6, headlined by the arrival of a new playable character, C. Viper.
C. Viper, who first debuted in Street Fighter IV, is a secret agent who uses a variety of high-tech gadgets and elemental attacks.

She is now available in all three of the game’s main modes: “World Tour,” “Battle Hub,” and “Fighting Ground.”
In the “World Tour” mode, players can meet her as a new master, learn her technical and stylish special moves, and deepen their bond with her through gifts and missions.

Her alternate “Outfit 2,” which is based on her classic business suit from Street Fighter IV, is also available for purchase or can be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions in the “World Tour” mode.

In addition to the new character, a major and unexpected collaboration has also been launched with the classic sound novel series, Kamaitachi no Yoru (“Banshee’s Last Cry”).

This partnership includes a new, free “Street Fighter’s Night” side story in the “World Tour” mode, and the “Battle Hub” has been redecorated with the iconic, blue silhouette art style of the murder mystery game.

A number of other new content updates have also been released simultaneously.
A new “Outfit 4” for the character Zangief, which is based on the “Mecha Zangief F” from past games, has been added.

To celebrate this, a collaboration with the world-famous metal band Cavalera Conspiracy has also been launched.

All players will receive a free, original BGM track from the band, titled “Piledriver,” and a set of special, Cavalera Conspiracy-themed avatar costumes.
The 26 winning illustrations from the “2nd Street Fighter Illustration Contest” have also been added to the game as new, custom match intro screens.

Finally, a new “Manemon Stamp” feature has been added to the “V-Rival Match” mode.

The massive new content update was released, Wednesday, the 15th of October.
