Magical New Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End UNO Deck Now Available
A new collaboration between the hit anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and the card game UNO has officially been released.
The “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End UNO” deck integrates the popular fantasy world into the classic matching card game.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows a near-immortal elven mage as she travels across a sprawling fantasy realm to better understand humanity following the defeat of the Demon King.
This collaborative deck features custom artwork printed across the cards, showcasing prominent characters like Frieren, Fern, Himmel, and Aura.
While the standard objective of shedding all cards from your hand remains the same, this crossover introduces a unique twist to the traditional rules.
The deck includes four exclusive “Serie” cards that grant players special “Privileges” during a match.
Serie is a legendary, ancient elven mage and the founder of the Continental Magic Association.
Possessing nearly every spell in existence, the immensely powerful character is famous for granting unique magical privileges to mages who manage to pass her rigorous first-class exams.
Playing one of these unique cards allows the user to cast specific spells to gain an advantage, such as magic that discards all cards of a chosen color or a spell to view the hands of opposing players.
This release follows closely behind Ensky’s recent reveal of a new Kirby of the Stars UNO deck, which is currently open for pre-orders.
This “UNO Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” deck is priced at 1,760 yen (approx. $11 USD / £9 GBP) and is currently available to purchase via the official Ensky web shop and general hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
