Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance Unveils New Key Visual

The official website for the upcoming television anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance released a third key visual on March 26, 2026, featuring the central characters Nanoha Takamachi and Fate Testarossa in new barrier jackets.

This new entry in the long-running franchise is scheduled to premiere in July 2026 and follows the narrative timeline established by the films Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection from 2017 and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation from 2018.

Takayuki Hamana is directing the project at animation studio Seven Arcs, which has been the primary production house for the series since the original 2004 broadcast.

The original story and screenplay are provided by Masaki Tsuzuki, while Issei Arakaki handles character designs and serves as the chief animation director.

Additional creative input comes from Shuichi Kawakami, who is responsible for the original sketches of the characters, devices, and barrier jackets.

On January 3, 2026, it was confirmed that Azusa Tachibana will voice the new protagonist, Shiina Kuze.

The supporting cast includes Rina Hidaka as Setsuna Kuze, Asaki Yuikawa as Towa Yorumi, Chiharu as Shiori Aizawa, Aika Kobayashi as Yuuna Kitamori, Ayasa Ito as Aoi Niina, and Hina Aoki as Yuzu Kodera.

Returning cast members Yukari Tamura, Nana Mizuki, and Kana Ueda will reprise their respective roles as Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami.

The franchise has expanded significantly since the debut of the first thirteen episode TV series in October 2004, followed by A’s in 2005 and StrikerS in 2007.

Later additions included the VIVID series in April 2015 and the spin-off Vivid Strike! in October 2017.

The theatrical history of the series includes The MOVIE 1st released on January 23, 2010, and The MOVIE 2nd A’s released on July 14, 2012.

TBS Holdings, the parent company of Seven Arcs, previously announced a major investment of 25 billion yen into the studio to enhance production capabilities for high-end global content.
