Premium Bandai US Kicks Off Gundam Summer Festival 2026

Premium Bandai US has launched its Summer Gundam Fest event, offering free US shipping when customers spend at least $99 on eligible items from a huge range of Gundam products.

The event covers a wide range of in-stock and pre-order Gunpla, making the shipping offer useful whether you are looking for something that can be dispatched soon or planning ahead for releases arriving later in 2026 and early 2027.

Premium Bandai US has made 250 items available as the first drop of Summer Gundam Fest, with its featured Gundam Base limited items scheduled to remain available until August 23 unless individual allocations sell out earlier.

Two of the most visually distinctive model kits in the event are the MG 1/100 Wing Gundam Zero EW [Cross Contrast Colors / Clear Purple] for $86 and the MG 1/100 Gundam Epyon EW [Cross Contrast Colors / Clear White] for $84, which reinterpret the traditionally opposing Mobile Suits with sharply contrasting dark and light finishes.

Wing Gundam Zero EW combines deep-purple and black armor with metallic-red details and asymmetrical mirror-silver markings, while Gundam Epyon uses solid and transparent white parts, metallic gold accents, and symmetrical silver decoration to create a brighter and more regal appearance.

Another major addition is the RG 1/144 The Gundam Base Limited Akatsuki Gundam Oowashi Unit and HG 1/144 Zeus Silhouette and Custom Joint Parts Set, which is priced at $196 and scheduled to ship in the US during November 2026.

The set combines the three-tone gold-plated Real Grade Akatsuki Gundam with the enormous Zeus Silhouette, dedicated connection components, and newly sculpted hip joints designed to improve stability when the additional equipment is attached.

This combined edition is a new Gundam Base release, with its Japanese launch scheduled for August 8, 2026, ahead of the November US shipment.

The Summer Gundam Fest lineup also includes the brand new MGSD Wing Gundam Zero EW [Structural Coating/Black] for $137, which covers the compact but highly detailed kit in black armor while using a new reflective structural coating beneath the wings to create shifting colors as light moves across the surface.

This version is scheduled to release in Japan during November 2026 and ship through Premium Bandai US in January 2027, making the Summer Gundam Fest the first chance for US fans to pre-order it.

Smaller High Grade options include the HG 1/144 Gundam F91 [Aftertrace Image Color] for $22, which uses glittering transparent parts to recreate the Mobile Suit’s mass-produced afterimages, and the HG 1/144 Gundam Double X [Clear Color] for $30, which pairs transparent armor with metallic-colored joints while retaining its deployable Twin Satellite Cannons.

The clear Gundam Double X was first released in Japan on May 23, 2026, followed by the Gundam F91 afterimage edition on June 13, 2026, with both kits now receiving September 2026 US shipments through the event.

The Summer Gundam Fest also features several Surprise Gunpla Bundles containing mystery selections of model kits, including seven-item bundles priced at between $180 and $200.

Availability of the Surprise Gunpla Bundles is limited, and each one has sold out quickly once they went on sale.

The next available Surprise Gunpla Bundle is the 7 item Surprise Gunpla Bundle N, which will go on sale at 2.00 PM (EDT) on July 31, and will be priced at $180.
