Bandai Releases Exclusive New Gundam Double X Clear Color Gunpla Kit

Bandai has released a brand new Gunpla model kit based on one of the most popular mobile suits from After War Gundam X.

The “HG 1/144 Gundam Double X [Clear Color]” recreates the iconic mobile suit piloted by the Vulture pilot Garrod Ran.

High Grade models are the core of the Gunpla hobby due to their accessible 1/144 scale and impressive range of movement.

After War Gundam X takes place on a ravaged Earth where survivors fight for control over advanced technology following a series of wars between Earth and its space colonies.

Bandai is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series, which was first broadcast on Japanese television in 1996.

The Gundam Double X serves as a successor to the original Gundam X and is capable of firing a Twin Satellite Cannon that draws energy from a microwave station on the moon.

This release features armor parts molded in high-clarity transparent plastic to provide a unique aesthetic that differs from the standard retail version.

Metallic molding color is utilized for the internal joint sections to create a sharp mechanical contrast against the clear exterior plating.
