The MG 1/100 Gundam Epyon EW [Cross Contrast Colors / Clear White] has returned to Premium Bandai US, opening another opportunity to secure the limited colorway following several previous order rounds.

This version completely transforms the normally dark and intimidating appearance of Gundam Epyon, replacing its familiar red and black armor with a luminous combination of solid white, clear white, gold, and metallic details.

The contrasting finish gives the Mobile Suit a brighter and more elegant presence, while the transparent armor sections reveal additional depth around the detailed Master Grade frame underneath.

Gold-colored parts highlight areas including the joints, armor edges, and segmented Heat Rod, with mirror-finish silver water-slide decals adding symmetrical engraving-style patterns across the completed model.

The Cross Contrast Colors series was created around combining clear, solid, and metallic materials with decorative decals, reimagining familiar Mobile Suits through color schemes that deliberately contrast with their original appearances.

Although the finish is the main attraction, the kit retains the features of the 2011 MG Gundam Epyon EW model, including its detailed inner construction, large articulated wings, and transformation between Mobile Suit mode and its dragon-like Mobile Armor form.

Its close-combat weaponry includes the large Beam Sword with a yellow effect part, alongside the shield-mounted Heat Rod that uses articulated segments to create curved and extended attack poses.

A flexible energy cable connects the Beam Sword to the Mobile Suit, while the combination of the wings, Heat Rod, and oversized weapon gives the model a particularly strong display presence in either of its configurations.

The Clear White edition originally debuted as a limited release in China in December 2023 before appearing in Japan at Hyper Plamo Fes. 2024, which was held from March 22 to March 24, 2024.

It later received a wider Japanese release through official Gundam Base stores on April 26, 2025, making it more accessible than its original event and regional appearances while remaining outside the standard retail Gunpla lineup.

Premium Bandai US first offered the kit during July 2025, with additional pre-order rounds in February and May 2026 before the current pre-order period opened on July 23, 2026.

The MG 1/100 Gundam Epyon EW [Cross Contrast Colors / Clear White] is available to pre-order through Premium Bandai US for $84.00, with orders scheduled to close on August 24, 2026, unless the available allocation is reached earlier, ahead of shipping in September 2026.
