Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s Aerith Joins the Square Enix Masterline Series
Square Enix and Prime 1 Studio have opened pre-orders for a new 1/4-scale Aerith Gainsborough statue based on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with standard and DX editions joining the high-end Square Enix Masterline collection.
Aerith is a flower seller from the Sector 5 slums who possesses a rare connection to the Planet, placing her at the heart of Cloud Strife’s journey and the growing threat posed by Sephiroth.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth expands the party’s adventure beyond Midgar, allowing Aerith’s kindness, confidence and inner strength to play an even larger role as the group explores the wider world.
The statue presents Aerith standing with her Guard Stick ready, capturing the balance of warmth and determination that defines her appearance throughout the game.
Her carefully painted face features detailed irises and subtle coloring across the skin, while individually sculpted strands recreate the texture and shape of her braided brown hair.
The new release is also the first Square Enix Masterline statue to use mixed materials across its clothing, combining a weathered leather-style jacket with a fabric dress to create a more convincing contrast between the different textures.
A water-inspired arrangement has been added to the base design, giving the statue a suitably dreamlike atmosphere while maintaining a consistent appearance alongside previously announced releases such as Cloud Strife.
The Standard Edition, priced at ¥264,000 (approx. $1,760 USD / £1,320 GBP), includes Aerith wielding the Guard Stick in her main standing pose.
The DX Edition, priced at ¥286,000 (approx. $1,907 USD / £1,430 GBP), adds the Wizer Staff and Gambanteinn alongside interchangeable head and arm parts that provide several additional display options.
These DX parts allow Aerith to be shown with her eyes closed and hands together in prayer, recreating one of the character’s most recognizable poses as she listens and speaks to the Planet.
Pre-orders for both editions are now open through the Square Enix e-STORE and are currently scheduled to close at midnight JST on October 1, 2026.
Fans in the US can also place orders via the official Prime 1 Studio online store, where the Standard Edition is priced at $2,200 and the DX Edition is priced at $2,400.
The DX Edition is currently scheduled for release on September 25, 2027, followed by the Standard Edition on October 30, 2027.
