Limited Edition Beyblade X and Evangelion Deck Set Opens for Pre-Orders

Takara Tomy has revealed a new collaboration between Beyblade X and the legendary sci-fi anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Orders have officially opened for the “BEYBLADE X CX-00 Evangelion Deck Set,” which merges the high-speed thrill of modern competitive spinning tops with the iconic bio-mechanical designs of the revered anime.

Created by visionary director Hideaki Anno, the seminal 1995 anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” redefined the mecha genre with its deep psychological themes and apocalyptic setting.

The gripping plot focuses on a group of burdened teenagers drafted to pilot massive synthetic humanoid weapons to defend a futuristic fortress city against monstrous invaders known as Angels.

Meanwhile, the modern Beyblade X generation introduces extreme dash mechanics, allowing the tops to accelerate to blistering speeds across specialized stadium rails.

The new “Deck Set” will consist of three different unique spinning tops, two specially printed long-winder launchers, and a customized storage box for easy transport.

Let’s take a look at each of the Evangelion x Beyblade X crossover tops in more detail!
- Eva Brave A1-70V (Unit-01)

This top features a large three-sided blade paired with an attack-specialized ratchet and bit for aggressive, high-impact strikes.
- Eva Arc B0-70E (Unit-00)

This defensive model utilizes a specialized shape designed specifically for parrying, allowing it to continuously deflect incoming assaults.
- Eva Brush T2-70A (Unit-02)

This versatile top offers two different modes, allowing players to smoothly switch between a rapid-fire attack style and a highly durable parrying stance.

This exciting crossover project was teased with a special promotional video announcing the start of the “Spinning Top Instrumentality Project.”
Fans will now be able to recreate intense tactical battles right on their tabletops using highly detailed toys modeled after the famous Evangelion units, though players will need to supply their own dedicated Beyblade X stadium to properly utilize these high-speed combatants.

Online pre-orders for the exclusive bundle opened on Thursday, March 21, 2026, priced at 7,500 yen (approx. £39 GBP / $49 USD).
Reservations will be accepted through the Takara Tomy Mall and the official EVANGELION STORE until Monday, April 20, 2026.

Shipping is currently scheduled to begin in late August 2026.
