Spring 2027 Release Confirmed in New Kindergarten Wars Anime Trailer
New details for the Kindergarten Wars television anime were announced during the AnimeJapan 2026 event on March 29, 2026.
The production team shared an updated teaser visual and a fresh teaser trailer to give fans a glimpse of the upcoming action-comedy series.
Originally slated for an earlier window, the broadcast for the anime is now officially scheduled to begin in Japan in the spring of 2027.
The voice cast has expanded with the addition of Hitomi Owada as Hana, Satoshi Hino as Luke, and Mariya Ise as Silvia.
Shinsuke Gomi is directing the project at animation studios Sunrise and FelixFilm.
Junko Yamanaka is handling the character designs for the series, which adapts the popular manga by You Chiba.
The original manga began its serialization on the Shonen Jump+ platform and has reached a total of 16 collected volumes in Japan as of March 2026.
International fans can access the series digitally through Manga PLUS, while Yen Press handles the physical English language distribution.
The story follows Rita, a teacher at an elite school known as Kindergarten Noir that protects the children of global icons.
Rita balances her search for a boyfriend with her duties as a top tier bodyguard in a setting described as the safest kindergarten in the world.
