Artificial Detective: Action Adventure Title Coming to PS5, Xbox, and PC

San Francisco-based studio VIVIX has officially announced Artificial Detective, a new third-person action adventure game scheduled for release in 2027.
The development team at VIVIX features industry veterans with experience on high-profile projects such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Control, Dead Space, and the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots.
Set in the year 2846, the game takes place in a decopunk metropolis where players assume the role of a robot detective tasked with uncovering the mystery behind the disappearance of humanity.
The protagonist, known as AD 2846, begins the journey with fractured memories and must navigate a city maintained by unstable machines.
Players will be accompanied by two primary companions, a military robodog named DAWG and a human girl named Mowgli who was raised by machines.
These companions serve as a core part of the gameplay, acting as a toolkit for progression through building trust and unlocking new abilities.
The setting of Conglomerate North features over ten unique districts, including crime-ridden areas controlled by the malevolent Rise Corp.
Gameplay mechanics emphasize variety through sandbox encounters where players can choose to shoot, hack, sneak, or weaponize environmental elements like electricity and magnets.
Transportation between these multilayered districts is facilitated by a flying streetcar, allowing for exploration and the discovery of hidden routes.
Artificial Detective is confirmed for a multi-platform launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
