LEGO Opens Pre-Orders for First-Ever Pokémon Sets

The LEGO Group has officially confirmed a long rumored partnership with The Pokémon Company by opening pre-orders for the first wave of LEGO Pokémon building sets.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the toy industry, as the construction toy license for the franchise has been held by competitor Mattel’s MEGA brand for several years.

The sets are due to launch on February 27, which aligns with the annual Pokémon Day celebrations that commemorate the original release of the first video games in Japan.

This unveiling follows the recent announcement of the Pokémon Center’s new Pikachu’s Sweet Delivery merchandise line, representing a diverse start to the year for the franchise that ranges from high-end collectibles to seasonal lifestyle goods.

While the Sweet Delivery line focuses on accessible plush and confectionary items for Valentine’s Day, these new LEGO sets clearly target the adult collector market with their substantial size and premium pricing.
The flagship product of this launch is the massive “Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise” set, which features highly detailed brick-built versions of the fully evolved Kanto starters.

This set commands a price point comparable to LEGO’s renowned Ultimate Collector Series, suggesting an intricate build experience and a high piece count.
Customers who pre-order this specific set will receive a “Kanto Region Badge Collection” as a limited-time gift with purchase.

This promotional offer is valid until January 27, 2026, or while supplies last.
The wave also includes a “Pikachu and Poké Ball” set, offering a substantial build of the series mascot alongside the iconic capture device.

A more accessible “Eevee” set is also available, allowing fans to build the popular Normal-type Evolution Pokémon at a lower entry price.

The full lineup of items are priced as follows:
- Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise: $649.99 USD
- Piece Count: 6838

This premium set features large-scale models of the three original fully evolved starter Pokémon.

- Pikachu and Poké Ball: $199.99 USD
- Piece Count: 2050

A display-focused set that pairs the franchise mascot with a detailed replica of a Poké Ball.

- Eevee: $59.99 USD
- Piece Count: 587

A smaller scale build of the fan-favorite Pokémon known for its unstable genetic code.

Strict purchase limits of one unit per customer have been applied to these high-demand items to mitigate resale activity.
All three products are currently available for pre-order exclusively through the official LEGO online store.
Shipping for these items is scheduled to begin on February 27, 2026.
