Haikyu!! Training Sim Game “ALL Challengers” Opens for Pre-Registration
TOHO Games has announced a brand new smartphone game based on the massive volleyball anime franchise “Haikyu!!”.
“Haikyu!! ALL Challengers” is set to be the very first authentic training simulation game created for the popular sports anime series.
Created by Haruichi Furudate, the original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2012 and quickly became a global phenomenon.
The series follows the undersized but incredibly athletic Shoyo Hinata as he strives to become a legendary volleyball player.
He enrolls at Karasuno High School and must learn to cooperate with his former rival, the genius setter Tobio Kageyama, to take their team to the national tournament.
Haikyu!! has achieved staggering success, boasting a massive circulation of over 75 million printed manga copies worldwide.
The 2024 theatrical anime film adaptation, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, also achieved massive blockbuster status, generating over 20 billion yen at the global box office.
This newly revealed mobile title has been created under the engaging concept of allowing fans to craft their own personal journey to the top of the athletic world.
Players are tasked with determining specific development policies for their favorite characters, carefully constructing customized practice menus and managing individual statistics.
Managers can then take their uniquely assembled dream team onto the court to challenge fierce rival schools in competitive matches.
The game will feature completely original 2D animation sequences and brand new character illustrations crafted specifically for this interactive experience.
Fans can also look forward to enjoying freshly recorded voice lines from the acclaimed cast of the animated adaptation.
