Shinobi: Art Of Vengeance Gets SEGA Villains DLC and Free Update On April 3

Publisher SEGA and developer Lizardcube have announced that the SEGA Villains Stage downloadable content for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will launch on April 3, 2026.
The upcoming expansion is priced at $9.99 and will be released alongside a comprehensive free update for all players.

In this new content, protagonist Joe Musashi must confront three iconic antagonists from SEGA history, including Death Adder from Golden Axe, Goro Majima from the Like a Dragon series, and Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog.
The SEGA Villains Stage package features five new stages and three new bosses set within worlds inspired by these classic franchises.
Additional content in the DLC includes two new Boss Rush modes, three new ninpo abilities, three character outfits, and six new music tracks.

Players who have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will receive this content at no extra cost.
Standard edition owners can access the expansion by purchasing it as a standalone item for $9.99 or as part of an $11.99 upgrade pack on the April 3, 2026, release date.
The concurrent free update on April 3, 2026, introduces a Hardcore Mode and various combat system adjustments to enhance the gameplay experience.

This patch also provides technical improvements to character outlines, the in-game map, and tutorial display features.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
