If you’re a kaiju fan who also enjoys a spot of DIY, you’ll need to pick up the latest ingenious product from precision casting manufacturer ‘Castem’.

Castem has announced the release of the “Godzilla Hammer”, a unique and meticulously crafted tool modeled after the formidable foot of the iconic monster Godzilla as it appeared in the 2001 cinematic masterpiece “Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack”.

The creation of this product involved a sophisticated process, beginning with a detailed three-dimensional scan of an actual Godzilla foot prop that was used during the filming of the original film.

This precise digital data was then employed in the casting process, which utilized the ‘lost wax’ method.

This advanced casting technique is renowned for its capability to produce intricate and complex shapes in metal, ensuring that even the minute details of the sole of Godzilla’s foot are faithfully reproduced in the final product, despite its metallic composition.

The “Godzilla Hammer” offers a dual functionality that will appeal to DIY enthusiasts and collectors of kaiju memorabilia, as not only can it be employed for the practical task of hammering nails, a function befitting the foot of a creature that has famously crushed numerous buildings throughout its cinematic history, but it also serves as a detailed and accurate representation of the Kaiju’s anatomy, allowing owners to closely observe the unique texture and contours of the sole of Godzilla’s foot.

Sales of this unique item officially started today, the 22nd of April 2025, with the “Godzilla Hammer” priced at 6,930 Japanese yen (approx. $49.06 USD / £36.77 GBP).
