Jujutsu Kaisen x Sanrio collab continues as new character pairings revealed
A new series of collaboration designs has been announced, once again pairing the world of the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen with the iconic universe of Sanrio Characters.
This new project features a fresh lineup of ten different character pairings, which will serve as the basis for a new wave of merchandise.
Jujutsu Kaisen, based on the manga by Gege Akutami, is one of the most successful anime and manga franchises of recent years, with a massive global following.
Sanrio is the Japanese company responsible for a vast universe of famous characters, including the world-renowned Hello Kitty.
The two previously teamed up to release a range of exclusive Jujutsu Kaisen x Sanrio goods earlier this year, however this latest collaboration will further expand the characters involved.
The new collaboration continues the trend of fusing the dark, action-oriented world of Jujutsu Sorcerers and Curses with the cute aesthetic of Sanrio.
This latest Jujutsu Kaisen x Sanrio collab is based around ten specific character pairings, each with its own dedicated artwork.
The official character pairings are as follows:
- Yuji Itadori is paired with Pochacco
- Megumi Fushiguro is paired with Badtz-Maru
- Nobara Kugisaki is paired with My Melody
- Aoi Todo is paired with Bonbonribbon
- Kento Nanami is paired with Pompompurin
- Satoru Gojo is paired with Cinnamoroll
- Suguru Geto is paired with Lloromannic
- Mahito is paired with Little Twin Stars
- Choso is paired with Minna no Tābō
- Sukuna is paired with Hello Kitty
Merchandise based on these new collaboration designs is scheduled to be go on sale shortly, with a full reveal expected for early to mid-August.
