Gundam UC MSV’s HG Silver Bullet Gunpla Kit Returns for US Fans This October
The Silver Bullet’s experimental funnel-equipped configuration has resurfaced through Premium Bandai US, with pre-orders now open for the exclusive HG 1/144 Silver Bullet Funnel Test Type.
Originating from the Mobile Suit Gundam UC MSV project, this version of the Silver Bullet was developed to test an Earth Federation funnel system and replaces the standard machine’s rear equipment with a distinctive experimental backpack.
The kit recreates the variant’s pale blue and white color scheme through its molded parts, separating it visually from the darker standard Silver Bullet while retaining the Mobile Suit’s imposing proportions and heavily armored appearance.
Its backpack features a newly sculpted large funnel in the center alongside updated surrounding components that distinguish the test machine from the regular HGUC Silver Bullet.
The backpack-mounted beam cannons can be moved forward into a firing position, while two included anti-ship missiles can be attached to the rear equipment by exchanging parts.
Builders can also recreate the Silver Bullet’s forearm-launching attack using the included lead wires and dedicated display supports, allowing the detached arms to be positioned away from the main body.
The shield includes an extension mechanism for more dramatic defensive poses, and the selection of interchangeable wrist parts provides additional options for displaying the Mobile Suit with its different weapons.
The included armaments consist of a beam rifle, beam sabers, two anti-ship missiles, and the extending shield.
This Funnel Test Type kit was first released through Premium Bandai in Japan in March 2014, followed by a reissue that shipped in December 2019.
Another Japanese reissue is scheduled to ship in August 2026, while the current Premium Bandai US offering is scheduled to reach American customers two months later in October 2026.

for $36.00, with orders scheduled to close on September 16, 2026, at 2:59 AM EDT unless the available allocation is reached earlier.
