Heroes and Villains Inspire New Official Frieren Sukajan Jackets

Two premium reversible sukajan jackets inspired by Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End have been announced, introducing a fresh wave of apparel that highlights two of the series’ iconic heroes and one of its standout villains.
The new collection arrives as anticipation continues to build for the anime’s future, following the strong reception of Season 2 earlier this year and ahead of the already announced Golden City Arc, which is scheduled to premiere in October 2027.

Blending traditional Japanese sukajan fashion with the fantasy world of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, both jackets feature detailed embroidery alongside reversible designs that offer two completely different looks in a single garment.

The first design focuses on Frieren and Himmel, celebrating the legendary companions whose journey to defeat the Demon King forms the emotional heart of the series.

Three-dimensional embroidery across the back showcases Frieren’s staff alongside Himmel’s Hero Sword, while the series logo is stitched across the chest to complete the elegant design.

The back continues the embroidered theme with the title “The Mage from the Party of Heroes Who Defeated the Demon King,” accompanied by artwork inspired by the pair’s unforgettable adventure.

Turning the jacket inside out reveals an embroidered Mimic chest design paired with Frieren’s memorable line, “It’s dark and scary in here,” while the reverse side features a bright full-color illustration of Frieren and Himmel standing together.

The second jacket highlights Aura the Guillotine, one of the anime’s most popular antagonists, with a design centered around her commanding presence and unique magical abilities.

Its front prominently features three-dimensional embroidery of Aura’s Scales of Obedience, accompanied by stitched text identifying her as one of the Seven Sages of Destruction and Aura the Guillotine.

The rear design incorporates embroidered scales representing her Auserlese magic alongside her distinctive horns, reinforcing her dark aesthetic.

Reversing the jacket retains the embroidered Scales of Obedience and horn motif across the chest while replacing the back with a bold full-color illustration of Aura herself.

Across both releases, AKROS has emphasized premium craftsmanship through extensive embroidered detailing that faithfully recreates iconic weapons, magical elements and symbols taken directly from the anime.
The reversible construction allows each jacket to alternate between a subtle embroidered appearance and a bold character-focused design, making them equally suited for everyday wear or display as collector apparel.
The Frieren & Himmel reversible sukajan jacket and the Aura reversible sukajan jacket are each priced at ¥32,780 (approx. $222 USD / £164 GBP), with pre-orders available now through the official AKROS online store.
