Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3 Set for October 2027

The official website and social media accounts for the Frieren Beyond Journey’s End anime confirmed on March 27, 2026, that a third season has entered production.
The story continues to follow the elven mage Frieren as she travels across the land to fulfill the dying wishes of her former companions while contemplating the nature of human mortality.

The upcoming installment is scheduled to premiere in October 2027 and will adapt the Golden Land Arc from the original manga series.
A teaser visual was released alongside the announcement featuring Macht of the Golden Land, who is known as the most powerful member of the Seven Sages of Destruction.

This new arc follows the events of the first two seasons, which are currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
While the production is confirmed, additional details regarding the specific cast and staff members for the third season were not disclosed at the time of the announcement.

The second season of the TV anime was produced at studio MADHOUSE under the direction of Tomoya Kitagawa, with music composed by Evan Call.
The original manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since April 2020 and currently consists of 15 volumes in Japan.

Fans can expect the third season to delve into the mystery of the city of Weise and the formidable magic of the demon Macht when it broadcasts in October 2027.
