Four retro shooters to release on Steam as part of the Telenet Shooting Collection

The “Telenet Shooting Collection,” a compilation of classic, 90s-era shooting games, is officially coming to PC.

The collection is scheduled to be released worldwide on the Steam platform on Monday, the 10th of November.

The “Telenet Shooting Collection” was previously released for the Nintendo Switch in 2023.

This new PC version will be released in a unique and flexible format.

The main “Telenet Shooting Collection Launcher” will be a free download.

The four games in the collection will then be available as separate, individual downloadable content purchases.

The four iconic, retro shooting games that make up the collection are:

  • Granada: A fast-paced, all-direction scrolling tank shooter.

  • Avenger: A futuristic, strategic helicopter shooter with branching mission scenarios.

  • Gaiares: An inventive shooter where players can absorb and utilize enemy weapons.

  • Psychic Storm: A two-player cooperative shooter with unique fighter transformations.

While faithfully preserving the original look and feel of the classic PC Engine and Mega Drive versions, these new Steam editions will also feature a variety of modern enhancements.

The new features include customizable key configurations, a rewind function, various video filters and display settings, full Steam Input support for a wide range of controllers, and a set of Steam Achievements for each of the four games.

Each of the four individual games will be available as DLC for $4.99 each.

The digital soundtrack for each of the games will also be available for purchase separately.

A new PC announcement trailer has been released, which showcases the collection’s classic gameplay and its new, modern features.
