First-Ever Danganronpa Orchestra Concert Announced for the Series’ 15th Anniversary

Spike Chunsoft and Kadokawa have officially announced the first-ever “Danganronpa Orchestra Concert”, celebrating the music of the hit Danganronpa video game series.
This unique live performance aims to reinterpret the iconic background music of the mystery series using a full symphony orchestra.

The globally successful high-speed deduction action game originally debuted in November 2010 and has since shipped over 10 million copies worldwide.

Players have experienced the thrilling class trials across three mainline entries, one side story, and one spin-off title, alongside numerous television anime, manga, and stage play adaptations.

This new musical endeavor honors the massive 15th-anniversary milestone the series reached in November 2025.

The timing also builds excitement for the 2026 launch of Super Danganronpa 2×2, a brand-new title combining the original second game with fresh scenarios rebuilt for modern consoles.

The official event logo highlights this crossover by featuring the mascot Monokuma swinging a conductor’s baton instead of his usual pointer.

The upcoming orchestral performance will feature music played by Heartbeat Symphony and conducted by Kento Takeuchi.
Attendees will also be treated to special venue-exclusive voice announcements recorded by voice actors Kana Hanazawa and Hiro Shimono.

The event organizers have shared a partial setlist highlighting tracks from across the entire series.
Fans can look forward to hearing orchestral arrangements of the following songs, with many others also expected to feature:
- “DANGANRONPA”
- “Welcome DANGAN IsLand!!”
- “Wonderful dead001”
- “Beautiful Lie”
- “Saisei -rebuild-“

Legendary voice actress Megumi Ogata will attend as a special guest to perform a live vocal rendition of “Saisei -rebuild-” alongside the orchestra.

Renowned series composer Masafumi Takada is also set to make a guest appearance on stage during the show.
