Fading Echo Arrives on PC July 21 with PS5 and Xbox Series Versions Set for 2026

Publisher New Tales and development subsidiary Emeteria have officially announced that the fast paced desert punk action adventure game Fading Echo is set to launch for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 21, 2026.

Players on console platforms will have to wait a bit longer as the title is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series later in 2026.

The game invites players to explore the surreal landscapes of the floating islands of Corel while taking on the role of a young Legend seeking to uncover her past.

A central mechanic of the gameplay involves mastering the element of water, allowing the protagonist to transform between human and liquid forms to navigate hazards or slip through narrow cracks.

Combat and exploration are further enhanced by the ability to exploit various elements such as lava, toxic waste, and corruption to trigger dynamic chain reactions within the environment.

Utilizing a power known as Æther, players can evolve their abilities to cast crushing waves or engage in devastating close combat tailored to their specific playstyle.

The journey takes place across the Echoverse, which consists of Corel and its Shadows, representing distorted realities that each possess unique laws and dangers.
