Japanese fashion brand TMT has announced its first-ever collaboration with the iconic anime series Dragon Ball.

The new collection is being released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TMT brand.

Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball first began as a manga in 1984 before airing as an anime in 1986

TMT is known for its “American casual” or “amekaji” aesthetic, drawing inspiration from vintage American styles of the 1970s and 80s.

This new partnership focuses exclusively on the original Dragon Ball series, which followed the early, adventure-filled childhood of the protagonist, Son Goku.

The original Dragon Ball manga was first released over 40 years ago, and as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, the first official Dragon Ball shop is opening in Tokyo.

All of the character graphics used in the TMT collection are new, original illustrations created specifically for this project.

The designs feature a wide range of characters from the anime’s initial arcs, including Goku, Bulma, and early antagonists like the Pilaf Gang.
