Digimon’s Original Digivice Returns This Summer with New Revival Series

Bandai is bringing one of Digimon’s most iconic devices back to store shelves this summer with the launch of the first entries in the new DIGIVICE Ver.REVIVAL series.
Inspired by the original handheld toy released in 1997 and the Digivice carried by the DigiDestined in Digimon Adventure, the revived electronic toy recreates the classic adventure experience while incorporating content spanning multiple generations of the anime.

Players can once again raise and journey alongside their partner Digimon using the built-in pendulum system, allowing Digimon to walk, encounter new events and respond to HELP requests from fellow players during their adventures.
The exterior faithfully recreates the color schemes of the Digivice toys originally released in July 1999, giving longtime fans a nostalgic design that closely matches the version featured throughout the anime.

The adventure content has also been significantly expanded, allowing players to experience stages from the original Digimon Adventure television series all the way through Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.

More than 80 Digimon have been included, giving players a wide variety of partner and enemy Digimon to encounter throughout their journey.

The first wave of the revival series will be available in two classic color variations inspired by members of the original DigiDestined team.
The DIGIVICE Ver.REVIVAL Taichi Yagami Color faithfully recreates the iconic orange-and-blue design associated with the series protagonist, while the DIGIVICE Ver.REVIVAL Yamato Ishida Color revives the distinctive blue-and-silver version carried by his longtime rival and ally.

Both versions deliver the same gameplay features and content, allowing collectors to choose their favorite character-inspired design or display the pair together as part of the anniversary revival lineup.

The DIGIVICE Ver.REVIVAL Taichi Yagami Color and DIGIVICE Ver.REVIVAL Yamato Ishida Color are each priced at ¥4,378 (approx. $30 USD / £22 GBP) and are scheduled to launch on August 1, 2026.
Whilst an international release has not been formally confirmed by Bandai, the devices are available for general retail sale in Japan and are not exclusive to Premium Bandai, which typically indicates a wider international release will occur in the months after the initial Japanese launch.
