Pikachu Stars in Pokémon’s New Official 30th Anniversary TCG Figure Collection
Image by Charlotte DavisPokémon has revealed a new 30th anniversary figure collection centered entirely around Pikachu, transforming 13 illustrations from the upcoming Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary booster set into the fourth release in its “Dream Painting” series.
The China-exclusive “Dream Painting 30th Anniversary Pikachu Figure Set” draws directly from the 30th Anniversary expansion, which includes 30 different Pikachu cards created by a variety of illustrators for the franchise’s milestone year.

Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout 2026, marking three decades since Pocket Monsters Red and Green first launched for the Game Boy in Japan in 1996 and began a franchise that would eventually expand across games, animation, merchandise and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

The new collection recreates individual pieces of card artwork as physical figures, preserving the poses, environments and visual ideas originally created by their respective illustrators.
Thirteen of the 30 Pikachu illustrations have been selected for the collection, creating an assortment of 12 standard figures alongside one much rarer secret design.

So far, only eight of the standard Pikachu figures have been revealed, leaving four regular designs and the secret figure to be unveiled closer to release.
Every randomly packed box includes one Pikachu figure together with a foil Pikachu card featuring the same illustration, allowing collectors to place the original card and its three-dimensional recreation together on the included display stand.

The standard figures are being produced in equal quantities, while the announced production ratio between the regular assortment and secret design is 143:1, making the hidden Pikachu considerably harder to find.
Each box also contains one six-card booster pack from the 30th Anniversary Celebration expansion, combining the figure chase with another opportunity to collect cards from the anniversary set.

Alongside these new Pikachu figures, the “30th Anniversary Celebration Charizard Figure Gift Box” has been revealed, which features the classic Charizard card illustration by Mitsuhiro Arita recreated as part of the “Dream Painting” series.

That collection features nine standard figures covering Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon, with each one based directly on Pokémon TCG artwork and paired with its corresponding holographic card.

Its secret design adds a second Eevee shown sleeping on its back among plush toys, recreating part of the surrounding room as a miniature scene and appearing at a far lower production rate than the regular figures.

The “Eevee & Evolutions Dream Painting Collection” began rolling out in China on August 7, while the new Pikachu set continues the same card-to-figure concept with a much larger anniversary-focused selection only a few weeks later.

The “Dream Painting 30th Anniversary Pikachu Figure Set” is priced at RMB 88 (approx. $13 USD / £10 GBP) per randomly packed box, which includes one figure, its matching foil card, and one six-card 30th Anniversary Celebration booster pack.

The collection will officially launch in China on September 16, 2026, with no wider release for the US, Japan or other international markets announced at this stage.
