Chiikawa Bakery unveils adorable new exclusive bread-themed merchandise

Fans of Chiikawa are in for a treat as a second round of exclusive merchandise from the “Chiikawa Bakery” has been announced.
These new limited-edition goods features characters like Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi in charming bakery-themed designs.
They will be available from the “Chiikawa Bakery” store on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando in Tokyo’s Harajuku district.

The Chiikawa series has become a sensation in Japan. Created by illustrator Nagano, the series features adorable animal characters navigating everyday life.
Its widespread appeal stems from its charming aesthetics, relatable scenarios, and the endearing personalities of its main characters.
The franchise has expanded rapidly from web comics to anime and extensive merchandise ranges as well as numerous collaborations, demonstrating its significant cultural impact in Japan.

It’s popularity is such that a recent collaboration with McDonald’s saw Happy Meal toys featuring the characters sell out in less than 24 hours.
The “Chiikawa Bakery” is a permanent store located on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando in Harajuku, Tokyo.

This themed shop combines the cuteness of Chiikawa with the comfort of baked goods.
Its previous limited-edition merchandise releases have been highly sought after, reflecting the strong demand for Chiikawa merchandise.
This second wave of “Chiikawa Bakery” goods focuses on an two concepts: the Chiikawa characters themselves “sandwiched between bread” or dressed as bakery staff.

Priced at 1,870 yen each, these plush mascots depict the characters in their bakery staff uniforms.

Mochiri Flake Stickers (Small Breads / Various Breads)




At 550 yen each, these soft, puffy stickers feature a variety of designs including characters alongside (or inside) different kinds of bread as well as bread shaped like the characters faces.
Trading Matte Badges (9 types)

Priced at 330 yen each, these collectible badges feature original illustrations celebrating the “Chiikawa Bakery”.
Trading Mini Acrylic Charms (9 types)

At 440 yen each, these charms feature various characters faces recreated as bread.
Water-repellent Plate (Ivory/Brown)

Available for 1,980 yen each, these plates are practical items featuring the bakery’s logo and Chiikawa characters.
B6 Ring Notebook

Priced at 990 yen, this “Chiikawa Bakery” themed notebook contains plenty of space for note taking.
A large number of products have also been revealed as being part of this new wave of “Chiikawa Bakery” merchandise, but as yet no product name, price or detailed information has yet been provided for them.
Pens

Two ballpoint pens will be sold as part of the new merchandise range and will cost 2,200 yen each.
Postcards




There will be four different designs of postcard available. Each design is sold separately and will cost 550 yen each.
Mini Bento Boxes

Two different designs of mini bento box will be available and they are priced at 1,100 yen each.
Memo Pad

Priced at 550 yen, this memo pad will feature 4 different colors of notes.
Large Sticker

A large sticker will be available featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi for 440 yen.
All of these new items will have a limited of two per person when they go on sale at the “Chiikawa Bakery” store.
The new “Chiikawa Bakery” products will be available both at the physical store at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando “Omokado” and through online channels starting from June 13th.

For those planning to visit the physical location, advance reservations for the “Chiikawa Bakery” will be available, and same-day reservations will be offered at the associated goods pop-up shop.
