Capcom Reveals Massive Nemesis Statue for Resident Evil’s 30th Anniversary
Capcom has opened orders for a monstrous new figure as part of celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil.
The highly detailed “Capcom Figure Builder Nemesis” perfectly replicates the relentless mutant from the Resident Evil 3 remake.
Standing at an imposing height of approximately 43 centimeters, the massive statue features interchangeable arm options to customize its menacing pose.
The base is intricately styled after the transportation capsule used by the Umbrella Corporation to deploy the towering biological weapon.
As a special nod to the classic 1999 PlayStation original, collectors will also receive an interchangeable head part matching the monster’s retro appearance.
The Resident Evil series, known in Japan as Biohazard, first unleashed its chilling brand of tension upon the world in March 1996.
Players were introduced to the elite S.T.A.R.S. law enforcement team as they investigated a string of gruesome murders in the Arklay Mountains.
This gripping debut established a formula of intricate puzzle-solving, scarce ammunition, and relentless undead adversaries that would shape the gaming landscape for decades.
Over the past 30 years, the series has expanded into a sprawling saga involving sinister pharmaceutical corporations, global bioterrorism, and unforgettable heroes like Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
To honor this rich legacy, Executive Producer Jun Takeuchi recently shared a heartfelt message of gratitude with the passionate fan community.
Alongside the figure announcement, a new physical event was also revealed as part of the ongoing anniversary project.
“THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD 30th Anniversary Exhibition” is set to open in Tokyo and promises to immerse fans in the lore that the development teams have meticulously crafted over three decades.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore unknown character backgrounds and discover hidden production secrets from the creation of some of the series’ most popular titles.
Organizers are planning highly original exhibits designed to grant visitors an immersive experience, making them feel as though they are physically stepping into the terrifying digital environments.
A dedicated line of commemorative merchandise is also set to go on sale at the event, with further details expected to be unveiled around June 2026.
The “THE WORLD OF BIOHAZARD 30th Anniversary Exhibition” is scheduled to take place in Shibuya, Tokyo, during the fall of 2026.
Fans looking to purchase the Nemesis statue can now place pre-orders exclusively through the official e-Capcom store.
It will officially launch and be shipped to customers starting from Thursday, December 10, 2026.
