Bungo Stray Dogs Announces First Orchestral Concert for 10th Anniversary

The “Bungo Stray Dogs” franchise has officially announced its first orchestral concert, titled “Mayoi Inu-tachi no Onsō” (Music of the Lost Dogs), to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Orix Theater in Osaka on Monday, May 4, 2026.

A subsequent performance will be held at the Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The performance will showcase masterpieces from across the six anime series, including the feature film, synchronized with famous scenes projected on a massive screen.

The main visual for the concert features stylish illustrations of Atsushi Nakajima, Chuya Nakahara, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, and Osamu Dazai sitting on speakers.

The concert features a lineup of musicians led by Taku Iwasaki, who composed the soundtrack for the series.
Band members include Taku Iwasaki himself on keyboards, Tsuneo Imahori on guitar, Toshino Tanabe on bass, and Shun Minari on drums.

Additional performers include the Nakamura Yuri Group on sax quartet, Jill Strings, and Funta7 on synthesizer.
Vocal performances will be provided by Lotus Juice and Miwa Sugai.

Newly recorded voice announcements will be played at the opening and closing of the event, with different versions for each performance.

VIP tickets are priced at 18,200 yen (approx. $125.00 USD / £98.00 GBP) and include guaranteed front seating, a 24-page original pamphlet, and a venue-specific satin sticker.
General seats with benefits are priced at 13,400 yen (approx. $92.00 USD / £72.00 GBP) and include the pamphlet and sticker.
Standard general seats are available for 8,800 yen (approx. $60.00 USD / £47.00 GBP).
All attendees will receive an A4-sized setlist as a gift.
The fastest advance ticket lottery will accept applications starting Friday, January 16, 2026, via the eplus website.
The application period runs until Sunday, February 1, 2026, with results announced on February 6.
