Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Gets a Magical Blue Moon Weed-Inspired Watch
Image by James RichardsonFrieren: Beyond Journey’s End is getting a new official watch inspired by some of the anime’s most memorable imagery, combining Blue Moon Weed flowers, magic circles and the passing of time into a design created for everyday wear.
The watch arrives as the series continues to build toward its next major chapter, following the second TV anime season that concluded in March 2026 and the announcement that Season 3 will adapt the Golden City Arc from October 2027.
Based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows the thousand-year-old elven mage Frieren after the defeat of the Demon King, exploring how her understanding of time, memory and the people around her changes during a new journey.
Those themes are carried directly into the new watch by AMNIBUS, with its face centered around a magic circle while moon and sun motifs surround the dial to represent the passage of time.
A small window near the top of the face combines a rising sun with a field of Blue Moon Weed, recreating imagery connected to one of Frieren’s treasured memories and giving the otherwise understated watch a direct connection to the story.
The reverse of the watch is engraved with a motif based on Frieren’s staff, adding another reference to the mage without covering the exterior in character artwork.
AMNIBUS has carried the same visual approach into the presentation box, using colors associated with the series alongside the staff-inspired artwork so the watch can remain visible when stored inside.
The finished design uses a quartz movement, mineral glass and a synthetic leather band, keeping the fantasy references concentrated around the dial and engraved details rather than turning the watch into a heavily branded anime accessory.
The Frieren watch is priced at ¥6,578 (approx. $41 USD / £31 GBP) and is available to pre-order through the AMNIBUS online store until September 9, 2026.
Orders are currently scheduled to begin shipping from mid-January 2027.
