A new BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War pop-up store is set to open in Kyoto this summer, giving fans the chance to shop an extensive range of exclusive merchandise inspired by one of the anime’s most stylish opening sequences.

The limited-time event celebrates the hit anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s legendary manga and will feature artwork based on the unique character designs featured in the opening animation for Thousand-Year Blood War Cour 2, which is set to the theme song STARS by w.o.d..

The featured visuals showcase Ichigo Kurosaki, Uryu Ishida, Renji Abarai, Jugram Haschwalth, Bazz-B and Askin Nakk Le Vaar in distinctive outfits created exclusively for the opening sequence rather than the main story itself.

Ichigo, Bazz-B and Askin Nakk Le Vaar are depicted in contemporary streetwear-inspired fashion, while Uryu, Renji and Haschwalth adopt more refined formal attire that gives the collection a contrasting visual style.

The merchandise lineup, which was previously exclusively released at Jump Festa 2026, includes six acrylic stands priced at ¥1,500 each (approx. $10 USD / £8 GBP), along with random passport-style photo stickers for ¥500 each (approx. $3 USD / £3 GBP).

Fans can also pick up one of two A4 clear file sets for ¥1,000 each (approx. $7 USD / £5 GBP), while six acrylic panels will be available for ¥3,300 each (approx. $23 USD / £17 GBP).

Sticker sets featuring each character are priced at ¥660 each (approx. $5 USD / £3 GBP), while eight scene illustration acrylic blocks will retail for ¥1,300 each (approx. $9 USD / £7 GBP).

Collectors can also purchase random film-strip style scene cards for ¥300 each (approx. $2 USD / £2 GBP), together with a scene postcard set priced at ¥1,400 (approx. $10 USD / £7 GBP).

Additional merchandise includes four acrylic blocks priced at ¥1,300 each (approx. $9 USD / £7 GBP) and four oversized can badge and character card sets available for ¥1,200 each (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP).

In addition to the merchandise, visitors will also be able to view life-size character panels and promotional displays featuring the special illustrations.

The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War pop-up store will run at Kyoto IP Bookstore from July 3 through August 2, 2026, with all of the exclusive merchandise becoming available throughout the event while supplies last.
