Pokémon and Santa Cruz Announce New Official 30th Anniversary Skateboard Collab Featuring the TCG’s Most Iconic Cards

Santa Cruz Skateboards has revealed a new collection of 30 official Pokémon TCG skateboard decks that transform card artwork spanning the game’s history into full-size rideable boards.
Created for the Pokémon TCG’s 30th anniversary, the limited-edition collection will be sold entirely through randomized blind bags, meaning collectors will not know which card-inspired design they have received until the packaging is opened.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game originally launched in Japan in October 1996 before expanding internationally, eventually producing thousands of cards across generations ranging from the original Base Set through to the current Mega Evolution era.

Its anniversary celebrations have already included the new “Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration” expansion, which launched worldwide in September with new cards alongside a Classic Collection revisiting major releases from the game’s past.

That historical approach carries directly into Santa Cruz’s new skateboards, with the 30 designs covering cards from several different eras rather than concentrating on Pokémon from a single generation or expansion.
Each deck measures approximately 20.3 x 80.3 cm and uses the original Pokémon TCG card artwork as the centerpiece of an expanded graphic built around elements including the card’s Energy type and the wider visual theme of the Pokémon itself.

Santa Cruz previously teamed up with Pokémon in 2023 for another blind-bag skateboard collection, although that earlier release consisted of 20 character-focused variants rather than the new set of 30 card-inspired designs.

Fifteen of those original decks used Pokémon artwork over silver prismatic rainbow glitter foil, while another five gold foil designs gave collectors much rarer alternatives to chase within the randomized release.

The 2026 collaboration retains the blind-bag concept but adds another layer of rarity through three additional glitter gold foil decks built around collages of Pokémon TCG cards from different international versions of the game.

Each of those three gold variants will be limited to only 500 decks worldwide, placing them outside the standard lineup of 30 individual card designs.
Every blind bag will also include a limited-edition Pokémon Player’s Guide booklet showing all 30 standard deck designs, giving collectors a complete reference for the lineup regardless of which skateboard they pull.
Santa Cruz is expanding the collaboration beyond the decks themselves with accompanying Pokémon TCG apparel and griptape also forming part of the anniversary collection.

The Santa Cruz x Pokémon TCG collection will launch worldwide on October 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM EST / 6:00 AM PST, with pricing for the blind-bag decks yet to be announced.
