Square Enix Announces Official US Release for Final Fantasy X’s Adorable “Pocket Peeplets” Plushies
Image by Charlotte DavisSquare Enix has officially opened US pre-orders for a new collection of adorable Final Fantasy X plush mascots, allowing fans to collect the RPG’s entire playable party in miniature form.
The “Final Fantasy X Pocket Peeplets” collection includes seven designs based on Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Auron and Rikku, recreating their original appearances as small, soft mascots with oversized heads and embroidered expressions.

Originally released for PlayStation 2 in July 2001, Final Fantasy X follows Tidus, a young Blitzball star who finds himself transported to the mysterious world of Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is attacked by a colossal creature known as Sin.

He soon joins Yuna, a young summoner undertaking a pilgrimage to defeat Sin, accompanied by a group of loyal guardians who become central to one of the franchise’s most celebrated stories.

The game marked its 25th anniversary in July 2026, with Square Enix celebrating the milestone through new merchandise, food collaborations, music releases and other commemorative projects.

First revealed earlier this year, the Pocket Peeplets range transforms the seven adventurers into compact plush accessories, each featuring the original character’s costume, hairstyle and other familiar details.

The mascots feature a soft, fluffy finish and a small attachment clip at the top, allowing fans to attach them to bags or backpacks, with each measuring approximately 12.5 to 15.5 cm tall.
Let’s take a look at the full collection!
- Tidus

The game’s energetic protagonist appears with his spiky blond hair, bright blue eyes, and signature yellow-and-black outfit, measuring approximately 12.5 cm tall.

- Yuna

The young summoner wears her traditional white and purple outfit, complete with colorful obi decorations and her mismatched green and blue eyes, standing approximately 12.5 cm tall.

- Wakka

The Besaid Aurochs captain sports his bright orange hair, patterned blue headband, and yellow shorts, with his miniature design measuring approximately 15.5 cm tall.

- Lulu

The powerful black mage is recreated with her long black hair covering one eye, decorative hair accessories, and dark outfit, standing approximately 15 cm tall.

- Kimahri

The Ronso warrior retains his blue fur, white mane, yellow eyes and signature horn, with details from his battle outfit reproduced across the approximately 15 cm mascot.
- Auron

The veteran guardian appears in his familiar red coat, complete with sunglasses, facial scar, and stern expression, measuring approximately 14 cm tall.

- Rikku

The Al Bhed adventurer features her bright orange hair, green eyes, and colorful outfit, including her goggles and accessories, standing approximately 14.5 cm tall.

Square Enix has also recently opened US pre-orders for six larger Final Fantasy X anniversary plush toys, featuring Jecht, Rikku, Auron, Kimahri, Lulu and Wakka.

The anniversary celebrations have also seen Square Enix reveal a new pair of limited-edition Final Fantasy X watches, developed with Swiss watchmaker Tendence and inspired by Tidus and Yuna.

Only 200 examples of each watch will be produced worldwide, with details drawn from the protagonists’ signature weapons, personal symbols, and colors.

The “Final Fantasy X Pocket Peeplets” collection is first scheduled for release in Japan on November 14, 2026.
For US fans, pre-orders are now open through the official Square Enix North America online store, with each mascot priced at $19.99 and shipping scheduled for February 2027.
