Adorable new sushi themed Chiikawa blind box figures to be released

Fans of the Chiikawa franchise will soon have another delightful set of figures to add to their collection.
The “Chiikawa Sushi Figure Collection” has been announced by the official Chiikawa store “Chiikawa Market”.
This set of mascot figures, which depict the kawaii characters in sushi-themed forms, includes a total of 10 different blind-packaged figures.

The blind-packaged format adds an element of excitement and collectability, as fans will not know which specific character they have acquired until they open the package.
The Chiikawa franchise, created by illustrator Nagano, has seen a meteoric rise in popularity across Japan and also internationally.

Known for its characters including Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, the series combines cute aesthetics with relatable, slice-of-life scenarios.
The “Chiikawa Sushi Figure Collection” will offer three-dimensional representations of the characters reimagined as sushi.

Promotional images show the series characters transformed into various sushi pieces.
These new figures have been revealed shortly after a collaboration between Chiikawa and sushi restaurant chain Kura Sushi was announced, which will also include a range of collectible figures depicting the characters as sushi.

The figures will be available through multiple dedicated Chiikawa retail channels, ensuring broad accessibility for fans across Japan:
