Touhou Project ‘Maid Cafe’ Themed Pop Up Store in Akihabara 2026

A pop-up store featuring the popular game series Touhou Project is set to open at the Kotobukiya Akihabara Store in Tokyo.
This collaboration with Medicos Entertainment focuses on a maid uniform theme and will run from March 28 until April 5.
The Touhou Project series, created by Team Shanghai Alice, is known for its vast cast of characters and has inspired a wide variety of fan-made and official media.
Fans can look forward to new merchandise featuring original illustrations of Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Remilia Scarlet, Flandre Scarlet, and Youmu Konpaku dressed in cute maid outfits.
The product lineup includes big acrylic stands, acrylic dioramas, collection books, and acrylic keychains among other items.
Special incentives are available for shoppers, including a random mini card from a set of ten for every 1,000 yen spent.
Customers who spend 3,000 yen or more will receive an exclusive illustration card.
An additional campaign offers the chance to win one of five life-sized character panels displayed at the venue.
Entry into this lottery is granted for every 5,000 yen spent on related products at the event.
The shop will be located on the 5th floor event space of the Kotobukiya Akihabara building.
