One of The Legend of Zelda’s official home accessories is returning after three years, giving fans another chance to pick up a display light based on the series’ iconic Heart Container.
The returning “The Legend of Zelda Heart Container Interior Light BOOK” recreates the familiar red-and-gold item as a compact LED light that can be displayed on its included stand and illuminated with a soft red glow.

The “BOOK” designation comes from Japanese publisher Takarajimasha’s branded merchandise series, which releases officially licensed items in special book-style packaging under its publishing label.

Heart Containers have appeared throughout The Legend of Zelda series as one of Link’s most important upgrades, permanently increasing his maximum health and often appearing as rewards after major battles or other milestones.

Takarajimasha originally released the light in May 2023 alongside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with the original product carrying the game’s name and eventually selling out through the publisher’s official store.

The new production run keeps the same compact design, with the Heart Container itself measuring approximately 9 cm tall, 10 cm wide and 4.7 cm deep, while its separate display stand measures around 4.2 cm tall, 11 cm wide and 6.5 cm deep.

A gold-colored frame surrounds the translucent red heart, closely following the appearance of the item from the games while allowing the light inside to remain visible when switched on.

The lamp produces a gentle red glow intended for use on a bedside table, shelf, or desk rather than as a primary room light, with Takarajimasha comparing its appearance in the dark to the soft illumination of a candle.

When switched off, the Heart Container can remain on its stand as a display piece, allowing the sculpted shape and gold frame to remain visible during the day.

The light requires three AAA batteries, which are sold separately, and the set also includes an opener that can be stored underneath the base when it isn’t being used.

Its return comes during The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary year, which has seen several of the series’ best-known in-game items receive new physical recreations and re-releases.

Bandai recently announced a Heart Container rice bowl as part of its upcoming “Hyrule Collection” Ichiban Kuji, alongside a Master Sword alarm clock and pot-shaped coin bank that plays the familiar Rupee pickup sound.

Nintendo and Bandai are also bringing back the 105 cm Master Sword PROPLICA in 2027, with the premium replica combining sound effects, music, and vibration with a full-size display design.

The Heart Container light will be re-released alongside Takarajimasha’s newly announced “The Legend of Zelda Rupee Silicone Pouch BOOK,” which turns the series’ currency into a small silicone storage case that can also be clipped to a bag as a charm.

“The Legend of Zelda Heart Container Interior Light BOOK” will be released in Japan on November 2, 2026, through Takarajimasha’s official Takarajima Channel store, Lawson, and HMV&BOOKS online, with some physical locations excluded.

The light is priced at ¥3,839 (approximately $24 / £18) and will not be distributed through regular bookstores.
