Vanishing Starlight Arrives March 26

Publisher Gamepoch and developer Heart Seven have officially announced that the side-scrolling Metroidvania action adventure game Vanishing Starlight is set to debut on March 26, 2026.

The title will be available for players on both PlayStation 5 and PC via the Steam platform.

Vanishing Starlight introduces a unique setting called the World of Shanhai, which blends traditional cyberpunk aesthetics with mythological elements from the ancient Chinese text Shan Hai Jing.

Players assume the role of Salt, a death row prisoner who has lost his memory and is trapped within a facility known as the Gibetuary.

After escaping with the help of a mysterious guide, Salt must navigate a world ruled by a cruel deity to reunite with former partners and recover his forgotten past.

The gameplay follows core Metroidvania mechanics, requiring players to explore vast environments and unlock new abilities to access previously unreachable areas.

A key feature of the combat system is the Triple Form of Armors, which allows players to seamlessly switch between different armor sets that each feature unique weapons and specialized abilities.

In addition to the standard release, a Digital Deluxe edition will be offered, featuring a digital art book, an original soundtrack with cyber-eastern themes, and two exclusive character skins.
